Coping with HIV/AIDS in the SouthEast (CHASE) The CHASE Study is coordinated by the Health Inequalities Program at Duke University. The UAB 1917 Clinic is one of 8 clinics participating in this 5 state study (AL, GA, LA, NC, SC) of HIV/AIDS in the Deep South. The overall goal of the study is to learn more about psychosocial adaptation, utilization of physical, mental, and non-traditional health services, attitudes about HIV/AIDS, and self-reported adherence to medical regimens. |
